Description
Bronze delrin bearing for medium and heavy-duty casters of 4″, 5″, 6″ and 8″ wheels. This plain Bronze bearing is harder and less likely to break or deform than those made of other materials. Bronze is long-lasting and corrosion resistant. Its strength allows it to hold up under impact. One potential disadvantage is that metal requires a lubricant to reduce friction and prolong the bearing’s service life. Oil or grease must be applied at installation and during operation. It is common in low-speed, high-load as well as high speed, low load industrial applications, including food processing.
Bearing – 0.5″ inside diameter, 1.18″ outside diameter, and 0.7″ wide. No spanner bushing is needed for wheel assembly. A 0.5″ axle bolt goes right through. A set of 2 pieces are required for installation of a 4″ to 8″ medium/heavy-duty caster.
